TITLE I
Title I is a federally funded program that was enacted in 1965 under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), committed to closing the achievement gap between low-income students and other students. Funds are based on free and reduced lunch numbers.
School Improvement Teams (SIT) are required by North Carolina law to develop school improvement plans. These plans set goals and allow team members to collaborate on ways to achieve the goals and needs of the school. The team consists of the Head of School, Assistant Head of School, instructional support personnel, teacher assistants, and parents of children enrolled in the school.
Our GSA School Improvement Team (SIT) meets twice a month on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. and parents are encouraged to attend.
Scheduled Meetings:
TBD
Please click here to send Dr. Hargrove an email if you would like to attend the meetings and add your email to the list to receive SIT information.
